Challenge: The goal of this project was to design a comprehensive travel guide for the How to ATL series, focusing on Atlanta’s vibrant wing culture. The challenge was to craft a guide that captured the essence of the city's culinary scene while also offering valuable insights for both locals and visitors, making it both informative and enjoyable to read. Solution: I began by digitally designing the guide’s layout, creating a user-friendly experience that effectively showcased Atlanta’s best wing spots. I also paid special attention to each location's atmosphere, flavor offerings, and unique characteristics. The project seamlessly blended digital design with hands-on production, transforming the guide into a tangible, interactive experience. This allowed for a cohesive, high-quality product that not only served as a functional guide but also felt like an enjoyable exploration of the city’s food culture. Outcome: The travel guide was well-received, providing readers with an engaging and in-depth look at Atlanta’s wing culture. It successfully highlighted local favorites and became a go-to resource for wing lovers, further strengthening Atlanta’s food scene appeal. The combination of a dynamic design and physical format made it a memorable and impactful product for both locals and visitors.
